Reviews and Ratings

Comments and Discussion

The feature of Reviews and Ratings enables you to have access to all the comments and ratings given by the end-user. This way, it helps other customers make quick purchasing decisions. A comment/review can be accepted to be made live in the storefront or rejected and deleted or deactivated and go offline or reject the abused status from the storefront. The comments will go to the admin for approval and hence, will be shown or deleted from the main webstore. This can be done from the Comments and Discussions section of the ACP.

To go to Comments and Discussion, you will need to:

  • Login to ACP
  • Navigate to Customers
  • Click on Comments and Discussions

Search Options

Under Search by Module, you will find a drop down in which you can search for either Comments or Discussions. After selecting one of them, fill in the from date and to date on the columns given below in order to search for comments and discussions of that specific date. After selecting, click on Go and a list of Comments and Discussions will appear.

You can select the comments from the list and put them into four categories:

  • Accepted and go Live in Storefront - To accept those comments and ratings and show them under the specified products to influence other potential customers.
  • Rejected and Deleted - To delete and reject those comments or ratings in order to remove them from the list as well as from the storefront.
  • Deactivated and Go Offline - To deactivate the comments and ratings but keep them in the list (not completely delete them)
  • Rejected and abused - If an abusive comment is made, is it put under this section. It is not deleted but some action is supposed to be taken against it.

If there are no comments made, then a There is no data to display as per your selection criteria will appear.

Click on Save and the comments will appear or disappear from the storefront, as desired.
